Overview: The 2010 Mustang uses its 45-year heritage as a design touchstone, but with modern, more-aggressive and more-muscular execution. The all-new interior features world-class craftsmanship and fit and finish, as well as a suite of new features and technology.
.) The 2010 Mustang embraces a stealthy persona on the GT model. The look of the grille and fascia has a design similar to a mask or letterbox treatment. A new black chrome Mustang pony, redesigned to be more chiseled and defined, gallops proudly in the grille.
.) The 2010 Mustang GT cuts through the wind more efficiently than the outgoing model. Aerodynamic refinements at the front end mean a 7 percent improvement in drag and a reduction of 23 percent in terms of front lift.
.) The promise of power exudes from the redesigned hood on the 2010 Mustang. A cold-air induction system boosts the V-8 engine by 15 horsepower. Also, the windshield wiper nozzles are now recessed, giving the hood a cleaner appearance.
.) New wheel and tire options are available for the 2010 Mustang, including a 19-inch performance tire. Tire and wheels are increased by one inch across the board for the Mustang line.
.) Sequential tail lamps, a Ford cue from the past, help give the 2010 Mustang a distinctive look. Three LED bulbs fire sequentially from the inside during turn indication.
.) Strong, dynamic lines and sinuous sculptural wheel arches give the impression that the 2010 Mustang is ready to strike. The sheetmetal is taut and strong, remindful of an Olympic sprinter ready to spring from the starting blocks.
