2010 Mustang wearing camouflage to pace Road America’s Mustang Day
The future of the Ford Mustang will be celebrated alongside its racing heritage at Elkhart Lake’s Road America this weekend at the Kohler International Challenge presented by Ford. Enthusiasts can catch a glimpse of the eagerly anticipated 2010 Ford Mustang, which will make a special public “debut,” outfitted with camo, to pace the historic vintage car field throughout the weekend. Saturday, July 19th will be Ford Mustang day at Road America with every Mustang and its occupants being admitted for free to the largest vintage event in North America. The Mustang’s rich racing history will be highlighted by the participation of two Shelby Cobras in the on-track events and the display of the 1983 Mustang GTP, which won its debut at Road America 25 years ago.
